Through Interlibrary Loan's "Library Distance Learning Delivery" site, Penn State users can request to have copies of articles sent to them electronically ( or by surface mail, if preferred ). On that form the patron indicates whether s/he wants the article electronically or in hard copy. If electronic delivery is requested, the patron is e-mailed a PIN and a URL for where the article can be retrieved ( it is posted to a Web site ). The article remains available to the patron for 3 weeks or 5 "uses," whichever comes first.

PLEASE NOTE: This service is NOT to be used as a substitute for Electronic Reserves!
