- TEACH Act and Copyright
As of November, 2002 the TEACH Act revised and expanded parts of the U.S. Copyright Law governing the conditions under which individuals may use copyrighted materials without permission from the copyright owner. Understanding the implications as they apply to on-line learning is imperative. The Information Technolody Services site (above) as well as Useful URLs - Copyright and Intellectual Property provide a host of resources on the issues related to copyright, 'fair use', and intellectual property in educational contexts.
